Polar Ice Shield™

With the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) it has made routine cleaning and disinfecting the primary focus for both households and businesses to prevent infection as well as stopping the virus spreading.

One of the main ways by which the coronavirus transmits from one person to another is through contaminated surfaces. Evidence suggests that this virus can survive for several hours to days on porous and non-porous surfaces.

Polar Ice ShieldTM is a disinfection process that incorporates an electrical charge into a liquid and when this process is applied, the droplets created when sprayed become positively charged enabling them to stick to a surface and effectively kill many germs and bacteria lurking on everyday surfaces. Once the surface has been sanitized it can stay clean for many weeks at a time, it really is the number one cleaning process.

How it works?

Electrostatic sprayed particles will have an attraction up to 75 times that of gravity and will seek out items to land on versus floating in the air. As the chemical exits the electrostatic sprayer, it’s given a positive electrical charge. The droplets then become attracted to all negative surfaces, covering all facets of a surface with the sanitizing agent. Surfaces that are already covered will repel the spray, making the method extremely efficient.

This cleaning process works for cleaning air condition fan coil units, ventilation heat recovery units, office computer keyboards, telephones, desks, door handles and any other surface requiring decontamination.

Is It Clean?

While infection prevention is a top of the mind initiative for most Offices, Schools, Care homes, Hospitals and Households, there is still an unmet need for ensuring public health and safety.

It’s certified to:

  • EN 1276 Bactericidal
  • EN 14476 Virucidal
  • EN 1650 Fungicidal
  • EN 13704 Sporicidal

Features and Benefits
